To discover around the campsite


Located in a quiet area in Bavent, our establishment is an excellent base for discovering the region. You will stay just a stone's throw from all the amenities necessary for your stay to go smoothly: bakery, pharmacy, restaurants, grocery store, mini-markets, etc.

Do not hesitate to ask for advice at reception, we will be happy to tell you our favorite addresses and activities! You will have tourist documentation at your disposal, to plan and organize your visits.

The Normandy coast and its emblematic places


By staying at Camping du Prieuré, you will be less than 10km from the sea. The opportunity for you to appreciate the beauty of the Normandy coast. Among the places not to be missed on the coast, we recommend some of the emblematic cities of the region.

Cabourg is located very close to our campsite, 10km away. Stroll along the seafront, stop at the Casino for a game, and let yourself be carried away by the discovery of the Belle-Époque villas that make the city so charming. Attend a horse race at the racecourse, and treat yourself to a moment of relaxation and entertainment at the Aqua Diva aquatic center.

Deauville, for its part, is famous for its beaches and cabins, on the promenade des planches. These are inaugurated each year by celebrities present for the American Film Festival. You can see their names on the barriers between the cabins.

The city of Caen and its treasures


The capital of Calvados, the city of Caen is a must-see during a stay in Normandy. From our establishment, you will only have to travel 10km to reach the "City of a hundred bell towers". Visit the Château de Caen, to learn more about the city and its history.

A multitude of monuments await your visit: the Caen Memorial, the Abbaye-aux-Hommes, the Abbaye aux Dames, the Saint-Pierre Church, and many others. You will also have the opportunity to take lovely walks in the many Caen parks, such as the Colline aux Oiseaux.

Normandy at the heart of History


Our region is rich in heritage. Not far from your accommodation, you will find many unmissable places from the History of France, particularly from the Second World War.

Just 8km from the Prieuré Campsite, head to the Pegasus Memorial. A fascinating visit, free or guided, awaits you in this museum which traces the history of the Landings and the Liberation.

You can also visit the D-Day beaches, as well as the Longues-sur-Mer Battery, which will immerse you in Normandy in the 1940s.

Activities to discover in the surrounding area


Many activities are available to you during your stay at Camping du Prieuré. With your family, head to Cerza Zoo. You can discover, during a safari, 120 species in semi-freedom.

For fishing enthusiasts, there is a pond 1.5 km from our campsite. You can spend peaceful moments surrounded by nature.

Amateur or experienced riders will also find something to keep them busy. Equestrian centers around the campsite offer horse rides to appreciate nature and enjoy the Normandy atmosphere.

The wonders to admire a little further away…


By traveling a few more kilometers from our establishment, other Norman wonders will be available to you.

30km separate you from Bayeux, its half-timbered houses, its tapestries and its Notre-Dame cathedral. As for Honfleur, it will only take you 45 minutes by car to admire the port, the beaches and the landscapes that have inspired many painters, such as Claude Monet or Eugène Boudin.

In just a few minutes' drive, you will find yourself facing Mont Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the abbey and wander the picturesque streets of this iconic French heritage village.
